Sioen Industries is market leader in coated technical textiles and high-quality protective clothing. They are a listed company with an extensive portfolio of activities and products, such as spinning, weaving and coating of technical textiles, garment manufacturing and production of fine chemicals.

Is a lot of presenting done at Sioen? For which presentations is Smartpresentations called upon?

First and foremost we called on your help for our company presentation. This presentation is used widely. Our sales staff go out with it and tell the story of Sioen to customers and suppliers. It is also a handy tool for when schools come to visit. We can easily tell and show them what we do at Sioen. New, specific presentations are also made with the slides separately.

Because we are a listed company, we also often have to give presentations and set out strategies at our monthly management committees.

How important are the presentations you give?

Various presentations are presented by our CEO, Michèle Sioen, so they have to radiate exactly what we stand for at Sioen. To explain things to our Board of Directors too, we have to make sure the whole picture is right.

Where did we make the difference?

Previously our presentations were made internally. Our designers created them in Adobe InDesign. They were okay, but absolutely not user-friendly. They were presented in PDF, so making adjustments ourselves was a no-go. Making a presentation takes a lot of time in that way. Since we got to know Smartpresentations, we have made great progress. Our story is perfectly visualised and the presentations are visual and functional. We can easily make small adjustments ourselves. It is a real improvement compared to before.

We have been working together for a while now and have a yearly arrangement. Is this an added value for Sioen?

Absolutely. We now know each other's way of working well and we experience this as very smooth and pleasant. I call regularly, but you keep answering my calls with enthusiasm and with a smile. That is nice to hear.
